3 min · A number on a player’s stat line — not a team winner, and not a recommendation.
A player prop is a market on something a player might do: points, yards, shots, and so on. Over means more than the number. Under means less.
Lines are set from expected opportunity: minutes, snaps, usage, role, opponent, and health. A backup who suddenly starts can move a line overnight.
Three good games do not guarantee a fourth. Volatility and small samples are the rule, not the exception.
POWERRANK does not currently display live player props. Our authorized odds feed is team-level. This lesson exists so that if props ever appear, they come with literacy — not with personalized wagering advice.
POWERRANK is not a sportsbook. We do not accept wagers, hold gambling balances, or process bets. Odds and implied probabilities describe a market’s price, not a guaranteed outcome. Gambling laws and legal age vary by place — follow the rules where you live. Educational information is not a promise of profit.
