2 min · What the price says about chance — still not a guarantee.
Implied probability is the chance baked into a price. −200 implies about 67% before vig removal. After we normalize both sides, you get a pair of percentages that add to 100%.
A 67% side is expected to lose about one time in three in the long run. Calling it a “lock” is wrong.
POWERRANK community pick % is a different number: how our members picked, not how a sportsbook priced the game.
POWERRANK is not a sportsbook. We do not accept wagers, hold gambling balances, or process bets. Odds and implied probabilities describe a market’s price, not a guaranteed outcome. Gambling laws and legal age vary by place — follow the rules where you live. Educational information is not a promise of profit.
