3 min · Media and playoff committees are not POWERRANK community ballots.
The AP Poll and Coaches Poll are weekly Top 25 lists from media and coaches. The College Football Playoff ranking is a committee ranking used for the playoff. None of those is a POWERRANK community ranking.
If POWERRANK ever shows an official poll, it will be labeled with its source. Community Top 25 is only what our members submit.
A team can be #2 in the AP Poll and #6 on POWERRANK. That is a difference of opinion, not an error in either list.
POWERRANK is not a sportsbook. We do not accept wagers, hold gambling balances, or process bets. Odds and implied probabilities describe a market’s price, not a guaranteed outcome. Gambling laws and legal age vary by place — follow the rules where you live. Educational information is not a promise of profit.
